If we are honest, most of us have gained unwanted weight during the pandemic. Finding something to wear now that fits or even looks remotely appealing can be challenging. As women, one of our priorities should be looking & feeling great in our clothes.
So how does that happen? Do we have a magic wand? Do we edit the heck out of our online photos, or is there a better way? Well, let me tell you. THERE IS A BETTER WAY! There are some strategies you can put in place to look & feel great!
1: Dark Wash Jeans
Dark wash jeans look classier than lighter jeans. They are not only versatile, but they can also make you look slimmer. Jeans are definitely a staple piece that everyone should have. You can wear it with a nice blouse for a formal look. There is a wide variety of jeans color; if your goal is to look slimmer, you will want to choose a denim shade in the color range’s darker end.
2. Monochrome outfits
Believe it or not, monochrome outfits give you a sleek look. Whether you’re a size 4 or a size 12 and beyond- you can keep your pants and top the same color (or closely matched).
3. Long Jackets and Sweaters
These help to elongate your frame. It can also help to upgrade your look. Even sweatpants look good with a nice long jacket!
4. V-neck Blouses
Last but not least, we have the one and only V-neck! This is definitely something I’d recommend every woman to have in their closet. It actually gives an illusion of height and slims down a larger frame while creating an illusion of a slimmer neckline.
